Mrgl was launched shortly before BlizzCon 2014. The idea behind the site had been brewing in my head for months – months! – before I got around to putting my ideas into something that made sense. And worked. So by the time I got my s**t together, BlizzCon was only a couple weeks away.
Post-BlizzCon 2014, my goal was to keep the momentum going and build Mrgl to be the site I had planned all along. A spot for the community to find info about events in and around the Blizzard world. A server meltdown and wedding planning put my projects on pause. I had to rebuild all of my sites from scratch and I just didn’t have the energy or the time.
But! I rebuilt the site and got hitched. The timing couldn’t have been better with BlizzCon 2015’s announcement just over a week ago.
So let’s get the show (back) on the road!
Mrgl’s events calendar is a bit bare for now. Never fear! The calendar will be updated as organizers announce parties and other events surrounding the con. If you’re hosting or know of an event during the BlizzCon 2015 festivities, fill out our Event Submission form or drop me a line with the details.
And if you’re hosting or know of an event surrounding a Blizzard franchise (Hearthstone or StarCraft tournament, Fireside gathering, IRL meetup, etc.), fill out the form, too!
